Objectives
Open Design Italia promotes the creation of objects produced in small series, created by designers and manufactured with the help of artisans and firms from the area, leading to innovation, creativity, and not least, the strengthening of the relationship between the creative processes and independent small / medium provincial production.
The designer is the architect of the entire production process, from creative intuition to the material execution of the object up to its direct marketing. This is why Open Design Italia promotes sustainability of the projects where research extends to materials, transport, packaging and how it can affect the entire supply chain, leading to a reduction in production cycle costs and waste of resources and materials.
