La Pillola  is a cultural association that deals with the organization and the set up of cultural and artistic events, fund raising and non-conventional marketing and communication.
Our main target is to contribute in making culture a project shared by a larger and larger range of society.
We believe that art and creativity are the best media to communicate ethical and environmental themes.
We promote  art and cultural events and we try to consolidate the partnership between culture and  marketing by cooperating with companies that combine their own goals with benefits for the local community and the environment.
La Pillola has hosted collective and solo exhibitions of both Italian and foreign artists and has also organised Participated Art events > www.lapillola.net

ELENA SANTI

Project manager / Artistic director / Event design

She graduated in Architecture from Ferrara
University in 2003. She works as an architect
and designer; in 2007 she won the Modena
Young Designers competition with a project
for a new shopping bag designed for the
bookshop of the Galleria Civica in Modena.
Untill 2009 she cooperated with several
studios such as Pan Studio and Iosa Ghini
in Bologna.
Since 2003 she has participated in several
national and international design /architecture competitions and in 2005 her project “Ergo” was selected as best interior design project for an office. She has taken part in several exhibitions from Rome to
Leipzig.
Currently she is developing projects in the field of architecture and design between the provinces of Bologna and Udine.


ELENA ASCARI

She graduated in Interior Architecture and she is specialized in Interior Design,
she has a particular interest for museology and loves designing gadgets and
small objects. She has been a member of Giovani D’Arte City of Modena since
2007. She won several contests and she has exhibited her works at Galleria
Civica of Modena, Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, Salone Satellite in Milan
and Open Designers’ Leipzig.

DAVIDE MENIS
Photographic documentation / Event Design

Since 2003 he has worked on projects dealing with both interior design and residential architecture, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Tuscany.
Since 2002 he has worked as a freelance
photographer, focusing on photojournalism,
still-life and portraits. He is specialised in
architecture and art photography. His works have been displayed on numerous occasions in exhibitions and specialized publications, both Italian and international .


LAURA SUCCINI
Event Design / Organization and Management of the Off-site Events Programme
In 2003 she graduated in Architecture from
the University of Ferrara.
Since 2003 she has been cooperating with the architecture studio Vincenzi in Bologna,
working on projects for residential architecture, museums and exhibitions design and layouts and landscape planning.
She collaborated with the City of Bologna working on the project for the Atlante delle Botteghe Storiche.

MARCO LANDINI

Artistic director

He has worked as a manager/designer for Elle Studio s.r.l. since 1999 and he has been the artistic director of the cultural association La Pillola 400 since 2009.
He is the curator of the gallery La Pillola,
his artistic research aims at the experimentation of different contemporary languages through the use of the human body.
He organizes events intended for vast
groups of people, thematically dealing with
cultural and anthropological issues.
He was the artistic director of the festival
"L’Ecole del Rusco 2009 – I sensi del recupero".
Inspired by his passions and his experiences
he works on environmentally sustainable
projects in the field of architecture and art.

ILENIA GAMBERINI
Administration / Public relation / Organization and Management
of the Off-site Events Programme

Events curator. After receiving a MA in
History of Art from Bologna University, in
2006 she founded the gallery La Pillola,
where she organises numerous exhibitions and art performances.
In 2006 she also created the format L’Ecole
del Rusco.
In 2009, together with 5 other partners,
she co-founded the cultural association
La Pillola 400.

LUDOVICO AMEDEO PENSATO
Communication/ Press Office

Since he can remember he has always been
attracted to art and cuisine, two different fields constantly cooperating in an fascinating manner.
This double interest led him to graduate in
Science of Communication and to attend a
Postgraduate international course in History
and Culture of Cuisine, where he created
a project dedicated to the organization of
events thematically dealing with art and
cuisine.
He works as an events organizer, copywriter,
journalist, curator; he has a passion for any
type of job where he can use his mind in an
original and creative way.
He is one the co-founders of the cultural
association La Pillola 400.

BARBARA SARTI
Graphic designer

She grew up influenced by her two grandmothers: one was a baker and the other was a seamstress, so she fostered a passion for creativity from a very young age.
She graduated in Graphics, Design and Communication, her professional experiences range from interior design, accessory design, leatherware design (for Mandarina Duck), fashion design, to graphics in all its forms.
Her daughter Viola, her most important project, was born in 2006.
Since 2009 she has been collaborating with La Pillola.
